printf( “Hello world!” );

Hello everybody!  This is the very first post to my brand-spankin-new Blog!  From this point on, I plan on updating this every Monday with rants about programming, graphics, and life in the game industry!  If you can’t tell by all of these exclamation points, then I’ll have you know that I’m really excited to have this blog!

  1. Hi, this is a comment. Commenty fresh!

  2. I am looking forward to this.

    • Hey man, haven’t heard from you in a while… how’s life?

      Let me know if there is anything you’d like me to write about, and I’ll be happy to cover it. =)

      • Life is good. Finishing up on Power Gig. How about yourself?

        It seems like all of the big engines are going the way of deferred rendering. There have been countless articles written on this subject obviously that both cover the positives, negatives, and modifications (Light indexed, inferred rendering, etc…)

        Maybe something related to that topic would be something to cover. I know it’s a big subject, but I’m sure people would like to hear your thoughts on it.

      • Glad to hear everything is going well for you! Life is good for me as well. I’m working on a pretty interesting project at work… I just wish I could talk about it. =)

        I’ll definitely look into doing a post on deferred rendering. Matter of fact, I’ll plan on doing that after my next update, which should be about memory access optimization.
